MONDEV's Highlights of 2021
What another amazing year for MONDEV!
Late last year we launched two projects of luxury apartments for rent, NuBerriand 468sg, and we are happy to announce that they have been fully rented and our tenants have been lucky enough to enjoy the high-end amenities all year-round.
We also launched three incredible projects at the beginning of 2021 and have had nothing but success.
Our McCord rental condos in Griffintown have filled in nicely since the summer, and residents are eager to experience Griffintown during the holiday season. Surely, they’re just as excited to take a dip in the rooftop pool next summer! In the meantime, the fully-equipped fitness center and neighborhood activities will give McCord residents plenty to enjoy.
The first phase of Vida Rental Condos in LaSalle added a new dynamic to an ever-growing community of families, young couples, and students in the VIDA LaSalle development. Neighbors are getting to know each other and are enjoying the beautiful area. There’s something about facing the Lachine Canal, being steps from Angrignon Park, and only a short ride away from downtown Montreal that makes VIDA feel like the place to be. Outremont’s MILHAUS made its mark in the city with being the newest development directly facing the new Campus MIL of UdeM. Phase 1 of 2 was a huge success as we quickly filled up our apartments, allowing residents to experience the New Outremont. What beats a breathtaking view of Mount Royal while lounging by the pool or heading out steps from home to enjoy the bustling streets of Van Horne and Park Avenue? Life at MILHAUS is nothing short of luxury.
This year, MONDEV’s commercial portfolio experienced a much-welcomed boom.
Our newly-built office building in the Mile-Ex, MILWORK, is now 35% rented, and we are ecstatic to have moved our headquarters to the top floor! Among our other neighbors, we are extremely proud to welcome the Agora Numérique which occupied the entire second floor. Bois de Boulogne’s new campus for continuing education will be a hub for creativity and innovation, a learning center dedicated to developing IT (Information Technology) and AI (Artificial Intelligence) skills, and will make a great addition to MILWORK.
We are grateful to have been trusted by Quebec’s first cashierless grocery store, Aisle 24, to open their first two locations in our very own Will & Rich and Domo rental condo buildings. Our residents, as well as the Griffintown and Old Montreal communities, will benefit from this new grocery shopping experience. From renovating our Rose Lofts and District Beaumont office buildings to selling our commercial condos in the Plateau-Mont-Royal, MONDEV has been busy, and we can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store!
On the sales front, the VIDA LaSalle townhouses are selling quickly and only ten homes remain of the 101 townhouses in the development. Similarly, the Prestance townhouses in Ville-Marie have flown off the market, and there are only 5 homes left in the fourth and final phase. Construction on our first homes project in Pointe-Claire, Walton, is wrapping up and we are excited to welcome the first residents as early as January 2022!
A proud moment this year was to be ranked as #1 in number of transactions and #5 in total sales value in the Top Buyers list of Montreal. Over two years we’ve made 35 transactions and have exchanged over $270,000,000!

Many new luxury condo and rental condo buildings will be launched, one in Griffintown on Peel St and one in the Old Port near the Notre-Dame Basilica and directly facing the Centaur theatre, stay tuned for the others!
Another LaSalle community development is on the horizon for MONDEV. This new project will feature many unit types and will be at the center of the action in the ever-growing LaSalle neighborhood.
Construction has slowly started for our other future residential projects on Ward St in Saint-Laurent, Rene-Levesque blvd in Ville-Marie, Mackay St in Shaughnessy Village, and Saint-Denis St in the Plateau-Mont-Royal.
