FINANCIAL ANALYST

Job Summary:

Montreal's leading real estate development company, Mondev specializes in new condo sales, townhouse sales, apartment rentals, and commercial leases. Reporting to the VP Finance, this key position will work collaboratively with other members of the accounting team to provide timely, accurate and meaningful financial information to the Executive team.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the financial results of the portfolio in order to maximize profitability
• Maintain up-to-date cash flow predictions for each property
• Prepare CMHC's annual portfolio reviews
• Monthly breakdown of year to date expenses of all construction projects including a project end forecast
• Follow different performance indicators
• Assemble financial results from different internal and external participants
• Assist in the preparation of monthly construction disbursements
• Monitor equity put into each development project
• Assist in recording new financing / mortgages as well as maintain summary schedule of mortgages with mthly payments and expiration dates.
• Assist in preparation of property budgets & variance analysis
• Preparation of internal ad-hoc reports as required
• Other related duties as is required

Requirements :

• Bachelor of Commerce, Finance or Accounting
• Experience in finance real estate as either lender, mortgage broker, developer, banking
• Enjoy analyzing and manipulating data from multiple participants in Excel
• Team player, strong interpersonal skills, sense of responsibility and confidentiality
• Demonstrates initiative & ability to work with minimal supervision – strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle high volume and deadlines in an ever-changing environment
• Detail oriented, meticulous, efficient and able to complete assignments with a high level of accuracy and on a timely basis
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of Yardi Voyageur is an asset
• Perfectly bilingual (English and French)
